Stacey Lizette
Stacey has been studying Bellydance since 1995, and specifically the Salimpour formats since 2001. She has instructed group classes for over 10 years and has traveled to various cities to teach workshops. When it comes to Bellydance, she has been a producer, sponsor, student, teacher, assistant, collaborator, seamstress, designer, workshop attendee, troupe member, choreographer and director. Her performance experience spans from restaurants, parties and parades to theater productions large and small. Stacey is Level 4 certified and pursuing her Level 5 certification in the Suhaila format, which is the official teaching level enabling graduates to offer Suhaila CEC’s (Continuing Education Credits) to certified students. She is Level 3 certified in the Jamila format. Stacey directs the Tekatek Dance Ensemble, her advanced student dance troupe and sponsors annual workshops by Suhaila Salimpour. Stacey carries with her not only a love and passion for bellydance, but for creativity in whatever form it may take.
